Title: Glue Canister Recycling and Disposal
Content Description: !Step 1: Running Low? Once you notice your glue canister is getting low. Reorder a new one!  It’s important to have a new canister before the current one runs out so you can attach your gun and hose to a fresh canister right away. If the glue dries in your hose, it could cause issues or even result in a non-working hose. 🔁 Step 2: Ready to Switch Tanks!  Hold down the gun to make sure all the extra adhesive is removed from the tank. Then, remove the hose and gun from old canister and connect to the NEW canister. PRO TIP: make hose is snug, but NOT too tight. Check that the glue is flowing properly—if it is, you’re ready to go! ❓Step 3: What to Do with Old Canister?  Place the canister into a box, open the valve fully, and well-ventilated area overnight.  ⚠️ Warning: If left indoors, the fumes may be strong. 🗑️ Step 4: Final Step  Once the canister has sat for several hours, locate the circular indent near the valve. Use a brass punch, or a hammer and a long screwdriver to punch a hole into the canister. This ensures that any remaining gas is safely released. (See picture below.) Have questions or concerns? Please reach out: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ♻️ NOTE: We take back and recycle jumbo canisters, the above steps are ideal for disposing of portable 38 lb or smaller tanks. The larger intermediate and jumbo canisters are picked up and recycled. Just let us know when you have some empties ready to return!
